Can't believe I haven't reviewed this place yet! I've been here four times now and each time has been fantastic. Genaro sure knows how to cook up an incredible authentic Italian feast! The vibe is perfect for a week day evening, after work, meander down with some friends, grab a bottle of wine and eat a massive platter or a gorgeous oven baked pizza. Would 100% recommend to anyone looking for great tasting food, it's great to support local family businesses!
Had a lovely meal at Basilico. The pizzas we had were really well cooked, a little different and very tasty. My son had Mac and Cheese and it was excellent, one of the best he's had when out. Add to this the lady serving was helpful and very friendly, and the chef was a great character who interacted with all of the customers with humour. Only thing worth knowing is that they don't do children's portions and recommend that children share an adult portion. Wasn't a problem for us as the kids loved the food so much they had a whole adult portion each!
With this being one of the only takeaways that delivers to Portesham, this will be our new go to. This is far better than domino’s, papa johns and all that, it’s real pizza! We ordered last night and it was incredible!
